RE: [TCML] splicing copper tubing - was primary voltage



No tools needed beyond a soldering iron, something a good deal larger than one would use for circuit repair.  I like the Weller 100/140W guns.  No torch - don't want to set fire to the supports.

Just stick a 3/4" length of a clean brass #10 screw (should fit snugly, to ensure the two ends are coaxial) midway into the two ends and feed the solder into the joint.
