Indeed steve, I'm a college student/chef right now and trying to explain to
other cooks why the aluminum pots don't work on the induction burners is
usually a laugh.  I also think that if you can safely build a tesla coil you
can probably manage to NOT blow up your apparatus with water on the
primary.

Has anyone ever seen what a coil does when said water boils over or
otherwise spills onto the primary coil or circuit?  I image it's some
fireworks similar to ball lightning! ^_^
