Yes, I think he has 173nF  @ 80Kv rating (Two .367mF caps in series @ 40Kv )
That is still a lot smaller than 240nF. His SRSG is large enough though to
handle things, and he has the choice of one or two pigs to drive it. 
(I hasten to add all specs are based on one his YouTube vids where he gives
a guided tour.)

Speaking of big coils with synchronous rotary gaps, Kevin Eldredge's Biggg
coil uses a synch rotary and a somewhat large cap value.
He runs at 120 bps and gets about 26 foot sparks I guess.  The last I heard
he was using 1/2" diameter brass electrodes on the rotary.
