[TCML] more on paralleling



hey all,

i looked at the diagram again and actually "looked" at it.
(also found a second old page still active on the web,

Anyway, since each variacs output is wound on separate chokes, and the
"outputs" from the chokes are all tied together, the second winding (
paralleling winding) runs in series with all 4 chokes, I guess this is
sharing the current somehow between all the chokes. My new thoughts are, if
I use a single core, wind all 4 outputs on it, it should be the same. And I
wont need to put a second paralleling winding on it either ( if i did it
would end up being a short circuit )
The core I intend to use will be an old core from a previous 1256D
meltdown, the core is undamaged but the original windings are history,
so... there is plenty of room for choke wire...

thoughts and ideas on this subject are welcome...
