Geek  Group, they have a couple of nice twin tesla coils, a soild state

youtube channel by the same name.  I only know of the place  by youtube but it 
looks like fun.
Just be aware that mentioning energy  generation without motion to them - 
that you first understand at least the  first 2 laws of thermodynamics - a 
good explanation of them can be found here  - 
http://www.physicsplanet.com/articles/three-laws-of-thermodynamics   and 
then if your idea for generating energy would stay within those laws, then  
sure, go for  it.
