I seem to recall that I do not get good results with using a power drill with a steel wire brush on copper. I suspect there is some Redox chemistry involved which prevents a nice shiny result.
Anyone had the same experience?

How would/have you cleaned your coils? With or without acid, If it
beats the steel wool and elbow grease, I'm all for it.
