Hey David,
When you saw it at DC's it had a 12kv, .6a antique Thordarson bombardier which unfortunately fail. It's now powered with a 15kv, .5a Sola bombardier. It ran a lot easier with the Thordarson. I had to pull the core on the ballast to get it to run as good but it's harder on the rotary gap. I used to be able to run for ever but now only 5 to 10mins.

I see that you still have that beauty going strong. I saw it running just like that at the 2007 cheese head Teslathon. Weren't you driving it with 12 kV PT or maybe a plate transformer?
