Thanks, I'm going to limit the current greatly what i'm most interested in
is getting a dual-polarity HV DC source. So the easy option for me right
now is to use the NST and get a decent +/- 10KVDC source.

I have ordered diodes I need to make a chain, did you immerse your diodes
in oil/wax?
