[TCML] 833C VTTC Audio Coil

7.2 kV pole xmfrs are quite cheap these days. We unwound some of the turns
from the outer sec winding to creates a 4.5 kV AC rms high voltage source
for an 833C coil but have not yet built the coil. These xmfrs can provide
1-1.5 Amperes at 4.5 kV at low cost. And, being immersed in coil, they are
nearly bullet proof. We use a simple multiple parallel resistor network
with a small air core RF choke to provide some sec coil protection.

Dr. Resonance
