A relatively equivalent value for tubing vs. flat ribbon is the outer 
surface of the tubing. So, for a 2" height ribbon, an equivalent tube 
size would be 2"/pi (about .64" diameter). Ribbon can basically get a 
large surface area into a compacted area. Edge corona, yes.
