That paper shows that it's possible to obtain a 18% increase in the 
voltage gain in systems with high coupling (~0.6), by increasing the 
primary capacitor and slightly changing the coupling coefficient. For 
regular Tesla coils, with coupling coefficients around 0.1, the 
advantage of doing this is insignificant.
