notice antonio's V max = sqrt( L2/L1) or sqrt (C1/C2) is equation (1) of the RSI paper Greater voltage gain for Tesla transformer accelerators by j. l. reed.
but you see... the voltage is time dependent.  That is why there is a slightly more complex equation (containing the coupling coeficient k) that gives the voltage at any time.
in fact, you can plot the secondary voltage waxing and waning as time passes.  it finally reaches its maximum (sqrt of L2/L1) at a special time.  one can see the two waves, represented by two cosine terms, aligning at this special time.
