[TCML] Terry filter - does one need the current limiting resistors
with a current limited NST?

The resistors are there to dampen transients which make it through the
filter. The resistor values can be changed to accommodate other
transformers as needed, but for the 6/50 NST, your fine using the listed
values (1k, 100W). Be sure to only use 10 MOV's with this 6kV rating,
otherwise the MOV's will not protect the NST. You will still have
filtering action without the 2 large resistors, but you won't have that
resistance needed to dampen out transients and other possible issues
(such as the NST, wiring, etc.. becoming resonant with the tank cap).
Take care,
Bart
