well, if you dont ask you cant learn.....Insulated Gate Bipolar
Transistor........they are designed for heavy pulse operation, many have
insulated gate fet's as part of the input scheme....
low signal input requirements, high power switching out the other
end.....the speeds are now fast enough for some tesla coil work...cul brian
