Ed,

If you copper plate the parts then you can definetly soft solder them.
Silver solder would be my first attempt at joining the parts, but they are
kind of small
to be waving an oxy-acetylene flame over.

	I'd thought of that.  I have a small "micro torch" which uses propane for a fuel and nitrous oxide for an oxidizer with stainless steel hypodermic needles for burners.  I'll go the copper plating route because it seems safest, if it works.
