If "7200" is nowhere on the nameplate, it probably is 12470V.  That is very uncommon, but not unheard of.  7200/12470Y is, on the other hand, very common, and just means 7200V.  So if all you see is "12470", you can be happy :-)

7200V would not be the end of the world by itself (it does present some solid challenges in spark gap design as David mentioned), but with the 277V secondary you would only be able to expect about ~6kV out with residential 240V service.  Another kV off the already-low 7200V would be a major bummer.

Anyway, if you have any questions about the nameplate data just post them here and those pig-wranglers among us will be happy to try and disambiguate anything.
