I am not sure how you are showing rectification here. You have no method to 
indicate DC like an electrometer or charging a capacitor or object. And once 
a spark forms, the rectifier is short circuited.

Guys, this was fun, seriously fun!Maybe not the best way to rectify a coil, 
but it sure is a start - and a simple start at that!I made two collectors, 
one with a point and one with a plane.  Placed them above a bipolar Tesla 
Coil.
One end of the bipolar coil had a point discharger, the other a plane.  The 
opposite collector was placed above the dischargers.  The result - see for 
yourself!
