[TCML] Magnetic Quenching

Speaking of these NIB magnets, I see them fairly often on eBay, and they've 
occasionally come up under Tesla Coil searches. I seldom, if ever, hear of 
anyone using them on the list. Is there any obscure use for them in various 
configurations (beyond the theoretical/experimental reasons stated in this 
thread), or do you think sellers just throw in "Tesla Coil" to increase 
their hits?
