Hi Tony,

Yes, there was considerable arcing around the base of the secondary, as 
the 'super soaker' spilled considerable amounts of salt-water there. 
Although cause for concern it didn't seem to affect the coil output 
noticeably during the experiment.

It was interesting how Jamie, after a brief description of how Faraday's 
law would protect him while at HV, just hopped into the toroid and was 
ready to go, without as much as a low power 'warm up' test.   GL
