[TCML] Does Patent 500,630 predate Tesla's coil?

Hi Jim,

IIRC, Tesla first introduced the "Tesla coil" in
either 1891 or 1892? Not sure about when he
actually filed a patent for it? I'm sure others can
further elaborate on this.
