Oh, you opened up a can of worms with that one! Ahem,
You put hundreds of dollars into them.
You put much of your time into them.
You go out and make money for them while they sit at home.
You must always show them utmost respect.
They make you happy.
They make you mad.
In the end, all you get from them are a bunch of sparks and maybe some  
government officials at your front door when they get too loud!
So yeah, very comparable to a female.
