  Concur.  Considerable work was done on this, years back.
  Now a development of 1/2 acre lots, more or less.
  Off East Pikes Peak (Ave?  Rd?)  I wandered by some years
  ago.

  Used to be a sign, South Side of East Pikes Peak Ave, in
  a 'park like' area, saying lab was 'nearby'.

  A bit of web searching may find the street intersection,
  mild drive past may be in order, rumour has it 'excessive
  visitation is 'not appreciated'.
