[TCML] teletype motor

Hey guys, 

I have acquired a teletype motor for my propeller gap. 

it appears to be a brushed AC motor? is this the type of motor that i want? 

Also there is a centripital switch on in that only disengages at high RPM, I think it might be some sort of speed limiter as when disconnected there is an open circuit. Furthering my hypothesis that this motor is not what I wanted. 

Any thoughts?
