Brian,
This is the filament wire for the magnetron. It supplied about 5 volts
at a couple of amps to heat the magnetron filament.
You can ignore it for TC purposes. I suppose you could remove it, but
you may damage the secondary in the process, so it's not worth fooling
with it.
