     Sounds like your coupling is off. I just had to fix this issue on 
my new coil. Raise your secondary so the bottom turn of the secondary is 
level with the turns of the primary (assuming a flat primary). That'll 
be a good starting place. From there to increment up until you start 
getting flash over again, or if you're still getting flash over at this 
new height, increment down even further till the flash over has 
subsided. Good luck!
