hi guys, this is my first post.i checked the archives first about the following question but found nothing.i would like some input on tufnol whale board, i recently bought some to construct a 'terry blake propeller gap'i intended to use this as the base 250x250x6mm on which to mount 8 stationaery tungsten electrodes...however..i just did some research (which i should have done first) and found out that according to a suplier it is only suitable for low voltage insulation,i found this quite dissapointing.
has anyone else used this and what was your experience,im expecting it would carbon track after reading on the supliers website.
if its not conductive i would also use tufnol in a larger diameter ie 25mmx25mmx50mm to make the arbour for the rotating tungsten electrode , having never used this material before im not sure how well it drills or how brittle it is.
any help much apreciated.
thankyou
mark.
