yep, that would work.  most MO caps have built in bleeders by the way.


Most of the time, 1n5408 diodes are cheaper than MO diodes, though, even 
if you string up 6 in series.


And you don't really need the parallel resistors and capacitors.  That's 
from back in the day when manufacturing tolerances weren't as good as 
they are now.  These days, the capacitors will have worse tolerances 
than the diodes and will actually aggravate the situation by resulting 
in uneven voltage distribution across the diodes.
