Here is the .0106uF MMC capacitor used on our old 4.5" Tesla Coil System. It is based on the Philips KP/MMKP polypropylene pulse capacitors. There are 170 total, 17 strings with 10 capacitors per string. With each Philips cap rated 6.2nF @ 2kVDC, this gives the whole MMC capacitor a rating of .0106uF @ 20kVDC. All of the cap's are mounted on the cheapest of perfboard, using #22 bare copper wire to connect them together on the backside. This MMC has exceeded our expectations. Results in Tesla Coil use are similar to that of flat plate cap's and rolled cap's, but the unit is *much* more compact. MMC's are the way to go for Tesla tank caps, but they cost a little more than the others.
