I did put a slight dent in another one.  But the metal hardness is way up
there.  Probably harder than the metal on the tin snips ;-))

Some stainless steels are among the hardest metals known!!  All they have
to do is mix them right.  These seem to actually have been cast rather than
spun.  If all so, they may shatter a power nibbler!

In your case, you may be able to get damaged ones (cheap) where you can
just cut out the damaged areas ;-))
