Subject: Marx using inductors

Hi All,

I am planning on finally getting around to building a decent Marx bank for
demo use/ I have a bunch of nice TDK 40kV caps. Anyway, I want to use
inductors instead of resistors, mostly for cost. I have looked around but
can't seem to find much info on using inductors. I made a small Marx kludge
a few years back with inductors, and it worked, but for this one I'd like to
make sure I get all the spark I should. So, any suggestion as to wire size,
inductance etc would be welcome. I am planning to make the frame out of 1/2
to 3/4" PVC pipe, and the inductors would be wound on that.

Thanks!

Jonathan
