Bert,

Perhaps you might consider placing a X-ray film cassette under the 
Lichtenbergs before discharging one, or a number of similarly shaped 
ones.  If the discharges were making any X-rays, you might see an image 
on the film.  I have a couple of old cassettes if you want to try.  I 
don't know how sensitive they are, but they would be a start. 

Of course, you might have to take precautions against seeing some sort 
if Kirlian image formation.  With the energy densities and strong fields 
involved, preventing that might be challenging. 

Any chance of posting the video of the irradiation process?
