I seem to always have projects underway... It's just sometimes
they take next to forever to complete. Earlier this year I
negotiated a trade: about 1/4 of a roll of 60 mil polyethylene
for a three foot length of thin wall eight inch acrylic tube. I
was happy to see the poly go. As part of the deal I had the
acrylic tube square cut to a 28 inch length (and picked up the
eight inch long section for scrap).

I had the new coil planned, but with my father moving overseas,
and my moving and getting married, I never got the chance to wind
it. I have a bunch of coil stuff stored in my brothers basement,
and he was so crowded there was no room to work inside. A few
weeks back he cleared out a large work area, and last week I was
able to get over there and got the winding layed down. The ends
of the winding are held down with electrical friction tape and
the coil is now ready for sealing, capping, and ground terminal
plate. Should be a nice resonator when completed.

Time was (like last year) I would have had a coil like this
completed in a weekend...
