Harry,  All,

Just thought you might like to know.  I have talked with the old grizzled 
mica gurus at a North Carolina mine.  The act of cleaving is called SKEVING 
in the mica business and the mica from which the layers are cut is refered 
to as a "book".  Just rivia but its nice to be able to use the lingo if 
going to the scource.
