Re: Capacitor charge, were is it?



	Richard Hull as a good electrometer (maybe more than one).
I suggest this experiment:
	Make a capacitor of convenient dimensions to fit in a
jar.  Perhaps coaxial cylinders of parallel plates.  Measure
the capacitance, then place it in the jar, fill with transformer
oil, and measure the capacitance again.  Suspend the capacitor
and charge it to some convenient voltage.  Remove the jar with
the oil in it and measure the voltage again.  Compare the original
charge C1*V1 to the final charge C2*V2 and post the results here.
