   Ed,

   I'll have to give this some thought, because if there is one thing
   I do believe in it's the Law of Conservation of Mass and Energy.
   Call it a religious belief if you will.  It also agrees with nature
   from the biggest to the smallest sacles.  That Law is NOT violated
   even on the sub-atomic scale.  And, pure capacitors DO NOT use
   energy, DC, AC, or otherwise.  So our logic does not agree with
   Nature.

   No way energy gets destroyed.  No way.   What say?
