Steve: Were it me, I would splice off one leg of the 220 to get 110 and I believe you will have plenty of current to work the system. Hell, I built many a slipshot system that worked just fine:) Joking, Spliceing off one leg and picking up the neutral will give 110 and I see no reason it wouldnt work. Stephen S.
