Stanley Harle, All,

Last night I pushed the twin apart to a measured distance of 144
inches between terminals. At this distance I require foil points on
the toroids to direct the streamers towards each other as the floor
and ceiling become more attractive. I do get connecting streamers
between terminals but the show is not nearly as good as it was at 11
feet.

Just for the record, I turned off my rorary motor and set the rotor by
hand so
that two gaps about 3/8th's inch were formed and let 'er rip for a short
run
at 8 kVA. I also got connecting 144 inch streamers and this time
noticed 3 firings per 60 Hz half cycle with the o-scope monitoring
the show.

Still hanging out in coiling heaven,
