Ed,
I have found that once you exceed 6-7 primary turns on a TC plus of minus
a turn is real tough to see a diffinitive difference in performance. If
you want sharp tuning use a .15uf tank cap on a 900khz coil and you'll
have you critical tune plus or minus 1/16 turn!!
