I don't know if you've already seen them, but C&H has the 100 watt Dales
in 1.4 Ohms, and is selling them for $7.95.  The next closest would be a
0.316 Ohm at 50 W for $1.35.  These are Dale brand also, and from the
picture in the catalog, appear to be the case style you seek.  They also
sell a range of non-inductive resistors in the same case style from
Dale;  all are $15.00 and 250 W.  Their values are as follows in Ohms:

0.2, 0.301, 2.00, 8.50, 9.31, 13.70, 20.00.
