Subject: transistor bias ?

Hi,

I want to build a transistor driver for my coil, but, I have lost my notes
on how to bias a transistor.  sounds silly really, but it's vanished out of
my memory.  I'm more of a logic guy now so my heads full of that kind of
junk now.
