I think there is a Company or two out there that sells spun copper
spheres. You could spin one yourself, but it's not an easy task! Much
easier although more tedious is to plate one. You could even make a paper
mache sphere and cover it with wood filer then sand the whole thing
smooth. Then make it conductive either by using a product like Aquadag,
which is available from stores that supply T.V. and radio repair parts or
you can take a standard zinc carbon battery apart and wash the powder
that's inside by mixing it with water, stirring then filtering through a
coffee filter several times. Allow this to dry then mix the powder with
either glue or polyurethane (make sure it's kind of thick but not lumpy)
and paint the paper mache sphere then connect a copper lead to the sphere
and float it in a fish tank filled with copper chloride solution and
electroplate a good thickness on the sphere. Wash when done and then buff
the copper to a nice shine.

P.S. Add your real name to your posts in the future or next to NOBODY
will answer them! Most people are very uncomfortable conversing
with unknown and especially secretive people.
