I finally got one of my 60 kv 1,8 uf caps open. It is 12 sections each about 1
1/2 x 10 x 26 inches (not measured), all wired in parallel so  .15 uf per
section. There was only about 1 gal of free oil in spite of the cap size. The
sections were really packed in. I am going to unwind one part way to get the
capacitance down and also try rewinding the part I take off to make a smaller
cap that will fit into a PVC pipe. I will report what I find.
