Re: streamer hit

Hi,
Almost a year ago I was demonstrating to some fellow employees that 36"
streamers from my tesla coil couldn't hurt me. I was wearing boots and
holding a copper rod. Everything was going great until I came to close to the
torriod. I was close enough that the current still had enough potential to
jump back out of me through my boot and into the cement. After crying out
with a really loud yelp I started to hop around on the other foot. Mean while
one of my fellow employees turned off the power before I could hurt myself
more. The other one fell to the ground laughing historically. When I
examined my foot there was no scar. It just hurt reallyyyy bad.

The lesson to be learned is always under estimate your insulation and have at
least 2 people with you encase one turns on you. :)
