   I don't think you should have to worry about nickel carbonyl formation from
a plating process.  I have been studying and performing tests on the plating
of nickel (and other metals) for 7 - 8 months and have read many references
from plating of bumpers to industrial production of nickel from mining
operations and have never seen one mention of this.  I suppose that it might
be a outside possibility when using organic bath additives, but those are
usually in ppm level doses and it is not likely that the carbonyl would ever
form.  If you have information to the contrary, I would like to see it.
