Hello all, Im thinkingn about making a secondary coil to use with a flat spiral primary. Would there be any advantages in having a hyperboloid shape secondary. Like a conical shape??? THin at the centre and larger diameter at the ends such that a large portion of the surface area of the secondary is equi-distant from the primary???This shape copuld also reduce the amount of flashover from the primary to secondary. mark
