I thought it was a good question.
There is a company that replaces insulators on high tension utility lines
without turning off the power to the lines.
They use a helicopter.  A guy on a platform attached to the helicopter wears a
custom chain mail suit and gloves, they hookstick the helicopter to a
high tension line to equalize the potentials.  Then they guy climbs on
to the live high tension line and replaces the insulator.
It saves the utility company millions per year since they don't have to shut 
down
the power line.
