drying coil forms

     Folks,

I'm looking for a good way to dry a pvc secondary coil form (6x24)
prior to urethaning and winding. It's very damp here right now:( I
have a small space heater but i'm reluctant to leave it on while i'm
not around for fear of setting my house on fire, and i don't have a
furnace room i can stick it in, unfortunately.

     my questions:

     1) does anybody have any good drying techniques/setups they'd be
     willing to share?

     2) Any estimates on how much drying needs to be done?

     thanks,

     paul
