Possibly. In a DC system with a properly built DC power supply it is
in principle possible to have all the "bangs" with the same, maximum,
energy, at an arbitrary break rate.
In a simple AC system, with more than two "bangs" per cycle, certainly
some of the "bangs" occur with less than the maximum energy.
The problem with DC systems is that there is a serious possibility
of the spark gap remaining in continuous conduction once triggered.
What is the usual solution to this problem?
