Terry: I'll let you draw your own conclusions from this bit of information. I have fun with AOhell and compuspend CD-ROMs. I put them on my 6" coil, and run at about 1.5KVA. This leaves me with a nice clean piece of plastic where once there was a layer of aluminum. Blows the data surface clean off the substrate. Aluminized mylar is about the same thing.
