Rich: I have an old wire chart that says 22AWG weighs 1.94 Lbs per 1000 Ft. A 4" x 20" coil of 22AWG would require about 760 Ft. & a 16" coil would take about 600 Ft. If you've actually got a 1/2 pound that's about 500 Ft. which would give you about a 13" coil. Maybe my wire chart is wrong on that Lbs/1000Ft figure? Hope it's of help, Jim
